Crazy Stunts

The theme for today's 'YouTube' Tuesday (yes, it's Wednesday, but it's summertime, everything's a little bit more laid back), is Crazy Stunts.

In posting today's entries of a TV newsreporter doing the obligatory 'let's try the Michael Phelps breakfast menu and see how far I can get' and some crazy guy kite surfing in Miami during Hurricane Fay, I have to wonder which stunt can cause more bodily harm.

The easy, quick answer would be kite surfing in a hurricane (especially once you see how much and far this guy gets thrown around), but pounding down 9,000-12,000 calories a day, starting off with a meal of a 5 egg omelet, three fried egg sandwiches (with onions, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo), 3 slices of french toast, 3 chocolate chip pancakes, a bowl of grits and two cups of coffee (to wash everything down) has it's own built in dangers.

You could have given this tv reporter all day long to eat this meal and he wouldn't have been able to get through it. Also, nice job by the assignment editor on choosing probably the skinnest guy in the office to attempt this massive feat. He didn't come close to finishing all the food and he still throws up. If you made him still there and finish the entire meal, I put the over/under on him throwing up at 3. What there wasn't anyone else (who is maybe a little larger) available?

As for the kite surfer in Miami, I'm sure the idea of kite surfing in a hurricane sounded like a good idea to him at the time, but I'm positive he's having second thoughts as he bounces off the beach like a superball and crash lands in a parking lot.
